第１2 回世界自然・野生生物映像祭
第 12 回世界自然・野生生物映像祭‐ジャパン・ワイ
ルドライフ・フィルム・フェスティバル 2015 は、東
京で開催されます。大自然の驚異や生き物たちの生
命のドラマを通して、地球の素晴らしさを伝え、環
境保護への関心と理解を深めたいという願いから始
まった映像祭です。1993 年から隔年で開催し、皆さ
んのご協力によって、今年で 23 年目を迎えることが
できました。
前回は 39 の国と地域から 303 本の応募作品をいただ
きました。素晴らしい作品が多く集まり、過去最多
の 46 本のノミネート作品が選ばれました。会期中の
入場者も 2 万人に達し、名実ともにアジア最大級の
自然・野生生物映像祭として世界の映像作家や放送
関係者から、一般の人々まで広く浸透しています。
映像祭では映像コンペティションだけでなく、一般
の人々に向けての作品上映、映像制作についてのト
ークやセミナーなどを開催。観客の声が直に伝わっ
てくることで好評です。また、各国から参加の映像
作家や放送関係者の交流も活発に行われます。共同
制作などのネットワークが広がる場にもなっており、
今後さらに映像の輪を広げる活動を進めていきたい
と思っています。
The twelfth Japan Wildlife Film Festival takes place
over four days in Tokyo.
Established in 1993, the Festival is held biennially. It
started in the hope that by screening moving
images of the wonders of wildlife and the
co-existence of nature and people, we could help to
increase understanding and awareness of the
urgent need to protect and care for the natural world.
With your cooperation, the festival is now in its 23rd
year.
For the last Festival we received 303 entries from
39 different countries and regions, and 20,000
people, including school children, attended the
public screenings. International film makers and
broadcasters and the Japanese public now know
the Festival as one of the biggest of its kind in Asia.
With the film competition as its focus, we also host
seminars by scientists and filmmakers and support
active international exchanges among filmmakers
and broadcasters trusting they may lead to new
co-productions and distribution opportunities.
We very much look forward to receiving your
wonderful films and welcoming you to the Festival.

1． 名称
第 12 回世界自然･野生生物映像祭
Japan Wildlife Film Festival 2015
2． 目的 自然･野生生物の映像作品を広く世界から公募し優秀
作品を選び称えることにより、映像制作の促進と質の向上に
寄与する。同時に、自然･野生生物の映像制作関係者、特に
日本、アジアの関係者に国際交流の機会を提供する。また、
応募作品を一般のひとびとに公開することにより地球の今の
姿を伝え、環境保護への関心を育み、高めることを目指す。

5． 応募について
i) 出品料 無料とする。
ii) 募集対象 2012 年 3 月以降に制作された自然･野生動植
物、環境保護、自然と人間の共生などをテーマとする作
品。ただし、過去の本映像祭に出品されていないものとす
る。
a. 応募は作品の DVD、ブルーレイ、もしくは、デジタルビ
デオファイルで行う。DVD の場合は NTSC (region 0
または 2) で行うこと。左記での提出が困難な場合、
DVD PAL も受け付ける。
b. 必要事項を記入した応募用紙に、以下の資料を添付
すること。
a) 完成台本（日本語または英語）。
その他の言語の場合はタイムコード付きの
日本語訳または英文訳を添付すること。
b) 作品スチール写真（異なるものを 3 枚）を
デジタルでの提出。
iii) 応募 応募は郵送、ホームページ、またはフィルムフリー
ウェイのサイト（https://filmfreeway.com/festival/JWFF）
より行う。

2. PURPOSE
To encourage international wildlife
production and improvement by honoring the very best
films. The Festival aspires to strengthen worldwide
networking among wildlife filmmakers, especially those in
Asian countries. By screening the films to the general
public, Japan Wildlife Film Festival aims to increase
awareness of the need to protect and conserve our
natural environment

vii) 広報･宣伝
a. 応募者は、応募作品が本映像祭の広報宣伝のため、
映像祭期間中およびそれ以降、各作品 3 分まで無料
で、本映像祭のプロモーション映像やインターネット、
あるいは適切な放送メディアなどで公開されることを
認める。
b. 応募者は、応募用紙に記載した情報ならびに添付写
真の、本映像祭の公式カタログや機関誌、インターネ
ットでの公開、あるいは放送･活字、マルチメディア媒
体へ向けての本映像祭の広報資料としての使用を 3
分まで認める。

5. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
i) No entry fees are necessary.
ii) Entries must have been completed in or after March,
2012 and the central focus must be on aspects of
nature and wildlife, environmental and conservation
issues, or nature and people. Productions already
submitted to the previous Japan Wildlife Film Festivals
are not eligible.
a. All entry will be done by DVD, Blu-ray, or digital files.
DVDs sent by post must be NTSC (region 0 or 2),
otherwise, a digital video file is accepted. Only in
exceptional circumstances, will we accept DVD PAL.
b. Please include with the completed Entry Form:
a) Script (English or Japanese). The official
languages of the Festival are Japanese and English.
Productions in other languages must be
accompanied by an English or Japanese script with
a time code.
b) Three different still digital photographs from each
production.
c) If completing your submission form online, do not
deliver your submission materials until you have
completed your online entry and be sure that your
online entry number is printed clearly on all
materials.
iii) Entries can be submitted from film freeway
(https://filmfreeway.com/festival/JWFF) or via post

vi) 送料･事故責任 作品送付に関する通関税を含む送料、
保険料は応募者の負担とする。送付中の紛失、破損につ
いて主催者側は責任を負わない。

vi) Shipping costs, customs and insurance fees are to be
paid by entrants. The Festival organizer is not
responsible for damage or loss of entries during the
shipment.
vii) Publicity and Promotion
a. Entrants automatically grant approval for up to
three minutes of each production submitted to be
made available, free of charge, for promotional
uses of the Festival, such as its web site, broadcast
media, and for in any reasonable media connected
with the promotion of the Festival both at the time of
the event and the months following.

viii) ビデオ・ライブラリー 全応募作品は映像祭期間中に映
像祭来場者に対して、ビデオ・ライブラリーで視聴される。
ix） 応募作品について 全応募作品は、映像祭終了後も映
像祭プロモーション用非営利上映や、ワイルドライフ映
像を通じて自然保護の意識を高める啓蒙活動としてのチ
ャリティーイベントに使用されることに同意する。これら上
映作品に選出された場合、日本語でない作品は、主催
者によって日本語字幕、あるいは吹替えされる。こうした
日本語版制作費は主催者の負担とする。地球映像ネット
ワークが日本語字幕または日本語吹き替えを製作する
権利を保持する。
応募にあたっては、作品に使用した著作権について必
要な手続きを済ませることとする。万一、第三者から権
利侵害、損害賠償などの請求がなされた時は、応募者
は自らの責任と負担で対処するものとし、主催者は一切
の責任を負わない。
x) 応募作品の返却 応募作品は映像祭終了後も地球映像
ネットワークの映像ライブラリーに保存され、本映像祭
の趣旨に沿った適切な方法で使用される。諸般の事情
で返却を希望する場合は、応募用紙にその旨を明記し、
送料を負担すること
6． 締め切り
応募の申込み 2014 年 12 月 31 日まで。

作品の提出
2014 年 12 月 26 日まで。
7． 審査
i)
応募作品は選考委員会によって審査され、予選を経て、
授賞ノミネート作品が選出される。
ii) ノミネート作品決定後は、速やかに応募者に通知される。
各賞の授賞は、国際選考委員会が最終選考を行い、本
映像祭最終日に映像祭会場で発表され、表彰される。
iii) 審査結果に対して、個別の対応は行わない。
8． 授賞ノミネート作品に選出された場合
授賞の最終選考に残った作品は、本映像祭会場で一般向け
に上映される。
i)
応募者は、ノミネート作品に選ばれた連絡を受け次第、日
本語版製作のための作品原版の HDCAM またはデジタ
ル・ベータカムを本映像祭事務局へ提供すること。
ii) 主催者は、ノミネート作品の制作者 1 人を本映像祭へ招
待する。ただし、海外からの来日費用は本人の負担とし、
主催者は滞日費用を負担する。
iii) ノミネート作品は本映像祭終了後も地球映像ネットワーク
に保存し、本映像祭の趣旨に沿った非営利の関連イベン
トで上映される。
iv) ノミネート選出後の作品の取下げは、行わない。
b. Entrants automatically grant approval for Nature
Film Network to use information on the entry form
and accompanying photos in Festival publications
and on its web site. They may be used for news
information material for TV, print media and web
based materials.
viii)
Entrants automatically grant approval for their
productions to be available for viewing by JWFF
delegates in the on demand library during the festival.
ix) Entrants automatically grant approval for their
productions to be retained by the Festival organizer to
be screened at non-profit public screenings and
charitable events to promote JWFF and the
conservation of nature through wildlife films during and
outside of the Festival. An admission fee may be levied
to cover venue and administration costs. The Festival
organizers reserve the right to add a voice-over or
Japanese subtitles to the films selected for those
screenings. The costs will be covered by the Festival.
JWFF expects all applicants to secure music and talent
rights to their films for festival exhibition. It is the sole
responsibility of the entity submitting the project to
secure permission from the copyright holder of the
material in question. JWFF will not be held responsible
for any inclusion of unsecured copyrighted materials in
your film.
x) Entries will not be returned. They will be retained in the
film library by the Festival. If you would like to have
your entry returned, it should be indicated on your
entry form and the return postage enclosed.
6. DEADLINE FOR ENTRY REGISTRATION
Entry registration will be closed on December 13, 2014.
Screener DVDs should arrive by December 26, 2014.
7. JUDGING
i) Entries will be screened and judged by the Judging
Committee. Entries selected by the committee will be
nominated as finalists for the awards.
ii) Finalists will be notified by the Festival office as soon
as possible after the selection. During the Festival,
films will be judged in relation to each award by the
International Judging Committee. Award winners will
be announced on August 7th at the Gala Ceremony
which closes the Festival.
iii) Due to the number of submissions received, JWFF
cannot provide individual feedback or reasons of the
selection results.
8. SELECTED NOMINEES
Nominated films will be made available for public
screenings during the Festival.
i) Nominees will be notified and asked to submit the
highest quality format available with HDCam, or
DigiBeta copy of the master to produce a Japanese
subtitled version.
ii) After the Festival, all works of the finalist films will be
retained by the Festival organizer, and will be shown at
non-profit screenings in line with the purposes of the
Festival. In some cases, a small admission charge
may be made to cover administration costs.
iii) No film may be withdrawn from the festival program
after its selection.

Best Nature and People Award
Awarded to the best production that portrays the
relationship between nature and people, which can
be either positive or negative, revealing perhaps a
new perspective or world view.
環境保護賞
環境保護のテーマを取り上げた作品で、新たな問題
提起や既存の問題に対して新しいアプローチを提示
するような最も優れた作品に授与する。
Best Environmental Conservation Award
Awarded to the best production featuring the theme
of environmental conservation, either unveiling a new
issue or offering a new approach to an existing one.
自然教育賞
あるテーマを、教育的アプローチを用いて取り上げ
た最も優秀な作品に授与する。TV 放送向けでもそう
でなくてもよい。
Best Educational Award
The winning production in this category may or may
not have been made for broadcast. Awarded to the
best production that gives an instructional approach
to a particular topic.
アニメーション賞
100% のアニメーション作品で自然界・環境保護をテ
ーマにした最も優秀な作品に授与する。作品の対象
年齢は問わない。
Best Animation Award
Awarded to the best 100% animation production with
a natural world or conservation theme. It can be for
any age group.
子供向け作品賞
12 歳未満の子供たちにわかりやすい内容であり、自
然や環境に興味をもつことに貢献する優れた作品に
授与する。
Best Children’s Award
Awarded to the production most suitable for children
aged 12 and under which will ideally stimulate their
interest in the natural world and its conservation.
アジア・オセアニア賞
アジア・オセアニア諸国からの応募作品の中から最
も優れた作品に対して授与される。

Awarded to the best production entered from Asia –

10． 効力 本規約は日本語版が全てに優先する。本映像祭に応
募･出品することは、この規約の承認と遵守を意味する。

10. VALIDITY
The submission of an entry registration for the Festival
implies full acceptance of these rules. Should any matter
come into dispute, only the Japanese version of these
rules will be valid and any such dispute must be settled
under Japanese law.
