This means that the structure of the wheelchair is hyperstatically bonded. We decided to use a 3 wheels whelchair, that is assimilable to an isostatic structure. VS 4-Narrow road A wheelchair is a cumbersome vehicle that hardly turn in daily life routes. We decide to improve a wheelchair able to turn on the spot with reduced dimensions; using a single rear steering & driving wheel and electronic control of the front brake for a better steering when the wheelchair is stopped. 5-Transfers Transfers from wheelchair to toilet is a very serious problem. So, we decided to use a removable seat, compatible with actual lifts in disabled toilets, avoiding to lift the person and lifting the whole seat; this would be a confortably way to transfers. The seat present a slot that allow the disable to use the toilet. 6-Reaching objects We used a scissor lift, actuaded by an alectrical linear actuator, between the chassis and the seat. This solution allow reaching higher position, such as a book in high bookcase.
