(Purpose 目的)
Article 1 第１条
These Instructions set forth necessary matters concerning joint use of the RI Facility by
external parties, as defined in Item 3, Article 2 of Rules for Prevention of Radiation
Hazards (hereinafter referred to as the “Radiation Rules”), of OIST Graduate University
(hereinafter referred to as the “University”).
この細則は、沖縄科学技術大学院大学（以下「本学」という。）のＲＩ施設（放射線障
害予防規程（以下「放射線規程」という。）第２条第３号に規定する施設をいう。以下
同じ。）の外部の者との共同利用に関し、必要な事項を定める。
(Procedure for Use 利用の手続)
Article 2 第２条
1 A person who wishes to use the RI Facility in a joint capacity shall obtain prior
approval from the Provost, by submitting an Application for Approval for Joint Use of
RI Facility (using the form as attached to these Instructions) to the Provost via the
Radiation Protection Supervisor (a person appointed by the Provost in accordance
with Paragraph 4, Article 4 of the Radiation Rules, hereinafter referred to as the
“Supervisor”) and the RI Facility Director more than one month prior to the scheduled
first date of such joint use.
ＲＩ施設の共同利用を希望する者は、利用開始予定日の１か月以上前までに「放射
性同位元素取扱施設共同利用申請書」
（以下「申請書」という。）及び放射線規程に
規定する「放射性同位元素の使用に関する計画」を放射線取扱主任者（放射線規程
第４条第４項の規定に基づきプロボーストが任命した者をいう。以下「主任者」と
いう。）及びＲＩ施設長を経てプロボーストに提出し、承認を得なければならない
。
2 The Provost shall grant approval, stipulated in the Article 2.1, when the person who
wishes to use the RI Facility in a joint capacity has concluded, or is scheduled to
conclude, a joint research agreement stipulated in the Chapter 4 of the University
Policies, Rules and Procedures with a researcher of the University), and has
completed the necessary proceedings, and when such a joint research agreement is
deemed to have no negative impact on the uninterrupted use of the RI Facility by the
University faculty, etc.
プロボーストは、RI 施設の共同利用を希望する者が、本学の研究者と、本学の基本
方針・ルール・手続きライブラリ第４章に基づく共同研究契約を締結し又は締結を

予定し、必要な手続きを終了し、かつ本学の教職員等による RI 施設の円滑な利用に
支障が生じないと認める場合、前項の承認をする。
If the person who obtained approval based on Paragraph 1 wishes to make any
change to the contents/terms of the approval obtained for joint use of the RI
Facility, such person shall submit a written document describing the change to the
Provost via the Supervisor and the RI Facility Director and obtain prior approval for
such change. To cancel a previously approved use of the RI Facility, unless
otherwise provided, such person shall make a written notification of such
cancellation to the Supervisor more than one week prior to the scheduled first date
of the use.
既にＲＩ施設の共同利用の承認を受けた者が、承認の内容又は条件を変更しようと
する場合には、事前に主任者及びＲＩ施設長を経てプロボーストに変更を申請し、
その承認を受けなければならない。ただし、第１項の承認を受けた者がＲＩ施設の
利用を取り消そうとする場合は、別途の定めがない限り、利用開始予定日の１週間
前までに主任者に当該取消しを書面で通知するものとする。
(User’s Obligation 利用者の義務)
Article 3 第３条
1 A person who uses the RI Facility jointly (hereinafter referred to as a “User”) shall
strictly comply with the provisions of any and all relevant Acts, the Radiation Rules,
these Rules and other relevant Rules of the University, and shall always endeavor
to maintain facilities and equipment in good condition.
ＲＩ施設を共同利用する者（以下「利用者」という。）は、関係法令、放射線規程
及びこの細則並びに関係する本学の諸規程をすべて厳に遵守し、施設及び設備を常
に良好な状態に保つように努めなければならない。
2 In case of any damage or loss to the building, the equipment (including the RI
Facility), supplies, etc., which is attributable to a User, such User shall restore at the
User’s cost and expense, said damaged materials to their original state and/or
compensate the University for any and all damage or loss.
利用者の責に帰すべき事由により建物、設備（ＲＩ施設を含む。）及び備品等に損
害又は紛失が生じたときは、利用者は自己の費用負担において原状回復し、その損
害又は紛失全てについて本学に補償しなければならない。
3 Unless otherwise stipulated or unless provided in the RI Facility for joint use, Users
shall bring, at the Users’ cost and expense, any necessary equipment, supplies,
laboratory instruments, chemicals, etc. for their own use.
利用者が自己利用するために必要な設備、備品、実験器具及び薬品等については、
別段の定めがある場合又は共同利用に供するため、ＲＩ施設において提供される場
合を除き、利用者が自己の費用負担で持ち込むものとする。
(Cancellation of Use Approval 利用承認の取消し等)
Article 4 第４条
The Provost may cancel or alter the terms of approval granted according to Paragraph
2
2 of Article 2, where the Provost finds that any of the following events set forth the
below occurs.
プロボーストは、次の各号の一に該当する事態が発生したと認めるときは、第２条第
２項の承認を取消し又は条件の変更をすることができる。
(1) In the event of the User’s failure to comply with the provisions set forth in Article 3.
利用者が第３条の規定に違反したとき。
(2) When the actual use by the User is not performed in conformity with the
descriptions in the Application submitted.
利用者による利用が申請書の記載内容に適合する形で行われていないとき。
(3) Any other situations where the Provost or the RI Facility Director finds that there is
a necessity of cancellation or alteration in view of the management of the RI
Facility.
プロボースト又はＲＩ施設長がＲＩ施設の運営上取消し又は変更の必要がある
と認める事情が生じたとき。
(Usage Fees, etc. 利用料等)
Article 5 第５条
1 The University can charge usage fees and other necessary expenses (hereinafter
referred to as “Usage fees”) to a User.
本学は、利用者に対し、利用料及び諸経費（以下「利用料等」という。）を課すこ
とができる。
2 The fee schedule and other necessary matters relating to Usage fees under the
preceding paragraph shall be stipulated separately.
前項の利用料等の金額その他利用料等に関し必要な事項は別に定める。
(Publication of Research Results 研究成果の公表等)
Article 6 第６条
When a User publishes the results of research conducted through joint use of the OIST
RI Facility, such User shall explicitly indicate in the publication that such results arise
from the joint use of the RI Facility of the University, and donate one copy of any offprint
to the RI Facility Director.
利用者がＲＩ施設の共同利用を通じて得た研究結果を発表するときは、当該研究結果
がＲＩ施設共同利用により生じたものであることを発表媒体に明記し、その別刷１部
をＲＩ施設長に寄贈するものとする。
(Miscellaneous Provisions 雑則)
Article 7 第７条
In addition to the instructions, any other matters necessary for joint use of the RI
Facility shall be stipulated separately.
本細則に定めるもののほか、ＲＩ施設の共同利用に関し必要な事項は、別に定める。

These Instructions shall come into effect from February 19, 2014.
この細則は、平成２６年２月１９日から施行する。
