背景・目的
○中東を中心とした新興地域における水資源として、再生水のニーズが上昇。
○海外水メジャーによる寡占状態の海外水処理市場を打開する。
○下水道未整備の海外新興地域をターゲットとして、MBR及びROを用いて下水から工業用水、灌漑用水を再生し販
売するビジネスの事業実証プラントを運転中。
成果概要
○分散型処理により下水・生産水輸送距離が短縮。
○大規模長距離輸送に比べ 30％の省エネを実現。
○水循環事業のノウハウを取得。
○ショールーム機能として活用し、中東地域において受注獲得に成功。

Background/purpose
○ Demand for reclaimed water is rising in the Middle East and other developing areas short of water resources
○ We aim to penetrate into overseas water treatment markets which are currently dominated by major international
water companies
○ Business to recycle and sell industrial and irrigation water by recycling sewage water using MBR and RO
technologies. Demonstration plant under operation with a view to expanding to emerging areas in need of
sewerage network systems.
Outcome
○ Reduced transport distance by decentralizing treatment facilities
○ Energy saving by 30% compared to large-scale and long distance
transport
○ Acquisition of water circulation business know-how
○ Demonstration plant serves as a showcase for acquiring new contracts
